Southwest Health proudly announces podiatrist Dr. Spencer Hammack has joined the Orthopedic Institute. Dr. Spencer Hammack joining the podiatry team at Southwest Health ensures that patients experiencing pain, diabetic complications, or requiring surgery, will be seen and recover faster.

Podiatrist Spencer Hammack, DPM, has experience treating an array of ailments, from sports injury to life and limb threatening infections and diseases. He completed his three-year surgical residency at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, where he served as the chief resident in his final year. His surgical training has provided a variety of experiences and expertise in all aspects of foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, including wound care, foot and ankle trauma, elective and minimally invasive surgery.

With the closure of Platteville Podiatry in the end of June, Southwest Health shares that they are ready to make this transition as easy as possible for Platteville Podiatry patients.
