Avoid Tanning Beds – Even in Winter
People may think that tanning beds are a safe alternative to sun exposure during the winter months, but the harmful UV radiation is still present, and significantly increases risk of developing skin cancer, especially melanoma.
How Can I Identify Skin Cancer?
The risk for skin cancer increases as you age, caused by a variety of factors including sun exposure and genetics. The good news is that if you catch skin cancer early, most types are very treatable.
