Southwest Health congratulates Dr. Robert (Bob) Stader of Family Medical Center in Lancaster, WI on his recently announced retirement. Dr. Stader has provided exceptional care to patients in the surrounding southwest Wisconsin. Effective, November 1, 2024, Dr. Stader will retire, and Family Medical Center will close.
Family Medical Center patients will need to establish with another healthcare organization for their care. Southwest Health is pleased to share that they are able to make this transition simple for patients, as Sabeena Cheema, PA-C, and Joseph Stader, PA-C, both of Family Medical Center, will be joining Southwest Health’s Family Medicine team.
Sabeena Cheema, PA-C, will join the Platteville Clinic as a Primary Care Provider. Sabeena earned a Master of Physician Assistant degree and Master in Public Health from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her interests include integrative health, understanding and appreciating each patient’s unique perspective on their view health, and shared decision-making with patients.
Joseph Stader, PA-C, will serve as a Primary Care provider at the Platteville Clinic and Primary Care and Walk-In provider at the Kieler Clinic. Joe completed his Master of Physician Assistant degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His favorite aspect of a Family practice is the variety of patients and personalities with whom he gets to interact. His interests include acute care and procedural interventions, as well as focus on physical activity and its impact on overall health.
Southwest Health’s CEO, Dan Rohrbach, extends his congratulations to Dr. Stader, stating, “Congratulations to Dr. Bob Stader on your well-deserved retirement! We deeply appreciate your years of dedication to our community. We are excited to welcome Sabeena and Joe to our Family Medicine team and look forward to continuing to create a healthier southwest Wisconsin.”
